Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive university affirmative action program (AAP) to ensure organizational compliance with legal requirements, including, but not limited, to Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA).  This includes the development of 20 individual college/unit affirmative action plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding AAP compliance and best practices to university partners to develop strategies to address underutilization and achieve compliance goals.
  • Serve as the University liaison to external groups and agencies regarding AAP compliance.
