The Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX (OIETIX) receives reports of discrimination and harassment alleged to have violated Policy 6.4.
You are encouraged to report to OIETIX if you have observed or experienced discrimination or harassment based upon race, ethnic or national origin, citizenship and immigration status, color, sex/gender, pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions, age, creed, religion, actual or perceived disability (including persons associated with such a person), arrest and/or conviction record, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression and/or identity, an individual’s genetic information, domestic violence victim status, familial status, marital status, caregiver status, height, weight, and any other legally protected class.
Reports of protected status discrimination and harassment can be made to OIETIX in

All members of the Cornell community also have the right to make a report to the Cornell University Police Department, local law enforcement, and/or state police or choose not to report; to be protected by Cornell from retaliation for reporting an incident; and to receive assistance and resources from Cornell.
Cornell provides a variety of options available to an individual, so that each person may choose a path for response best suited to their particular situation. Cornell’s procedures are intended to protect the rights of the complaining party (“the complainant”), the accused (“the respondent”), and the community.
